New Galleries Of Milena Velba Getting My Art Into Northern New Mexico Galleries?

Getting my art into Northern New Mexico galleries? - new galleries of milena velba

I am an artist of contemporary Latin American descent. I'm happy about an hour and a half in galleries in New Mexico, I want to show, would like to Taos and Santa Fe, I am self taught artists, outsider. I need more attention than e-bay. Suggestions?

You must make an appointment with each gallery to show their work. It is better to have too many. If your job is too big to put everything in physics, with slides or digital photos of high quality. [penydred is correct then, of course, it should optimize your work. They'e not interested in how it develops or improves over the years or how he changed his style --- want to know if you can offer a product line NOW. And make their first plays more in the portfolio. These people are used to find work and quickly decide whether they want to participate a chance on your own or. They could decide the outcome of two or three pieces. But you do not need much work to be available because they will not take their work a single area. It is difficult to sell the work of an artist, so that customers can see examples of the work of this artist.]

It would also be a good idea to each gallery, before visiting an appointment. If your work does not appear in a gameUlar Gallery, or if it resembles an artist's work, it is now, and spend on others.

PS --- unless you are the artist of happiness on earth, and their work is accepted by the large gallery first you take your job, you will find something to relieve. Do not take it personally. Galleries are from the companies. Their selection is not "What is your profession? Much like" Can I sell? and they already know who your customers and what they sell. Most of them have shares from the ears, and must make the decision even more to be considered with the sale potential.

If you receive constructive criticism, again, do not take it personally --- but seriously I take. I have some of the best contributions to one of my first rejection (by coincidence, a gallery in Santa Fe: D), and pay attention to her, I could finally be held in a gallery in New York.

At any rate, most of us, many travel-ngand yes. Do not be discouraged, and good luck.

follow the advice of Ellen visiting the galleries prior to cite.
When you quote itself;
Portfolio - taking digital pictures, black or plain white formatted in Photoshop, and 8x10 print, thin line in a portfolio. Edit edit edit .. Choose only the best of his work around 12 pictures.

Take with you a biography (brief statement on the history of education and entertainment, self-information)
Artist Statement (your feelings about art, production art, and influence, can a factory)
If you use Photoshop or a friend told you are familiar, you had a photo or a collage and your contact information in a format and take to a photo printing place and the size of a greeting card, these events leave after ...

Remember to write out to a thank you note and then check again ...

Remember galleries can schedule your appointments as much as three years in advance ....

Network needs. I lived there, the owners of the galleries are very sophisticated and artistic. It is also necessary to ensure that their work is good enough for some professional advice.
